Brand Launch: Flowers of Yarra Glen
During my shop adventures last year (which you can read more about here) I had the pleasure of meeting some pretty amazing fellow shop owners in the street. One of these was Allie who owns the florist in Yarra Glen and is one of the main bridal florists servicing the Yarra Valley. Her work is absolutely incredible and her clients are always raving about how wonderful she was to work with. So when she popped into the shop one day to chat about rebranding and a new website I was so excited!
When we were discussing ideas and trying to put together a brief I could tell Allie had a clear idea of what she didn’t want, but it took a bit of back and forwards before I started to develop a picture of what she did want. Thankfully we got there, and the end result is this native watercolour floral wreath, and a gentle script font, that Allie loves.
Then we rebuilt Allie’s website from scratch, the old one was looking a bit tired, so using the new branding we created a site that oozes class and elegance. I spent some time experimenting with some different layouts, and ultimately had to dive into coding (not my favourite part of web design) to pull this grid homepage look, but it was totally worth it in my humble opinion.
Working with stunning photographs always makes projects just that much easier, and the results that much more stunning. And of course when those photographs are of the most beautiful floral arrangements, it’s just that much better. So pop on over to Flowers of Yarra Glen and check out the final result.
